THE BEHIND THE COOKIE SHEET AT SWEET RIDE BAKE SHOPPE
Cookie connoisseur, cupcake junkie, and motorcycle enthusiast are a few ways to describe me! My name is Cathy Nolte, and I began the journey of baking with my mother and grandmother. My mother started my obsession with cakes and cupcakes many years ago when she gave me my first decorating kit in high school.
My newest passion is working with decorative sugar cookies. I get so much joy from creating and at times, inventing, new homemade desserts for my family and friends.
I love to experiment with flavors, but there is nothing better than the classic! Many of my recipes have been handed down to me from my parents' families. Aunt Alice’s butter cookies, Uncle Bill’s gingerbread cookies, and my own rendition for chocolate chip cookies are a few of my favorites.
Currently I am teaching full time and baking in the evenings. As a registered cottage food producer in Minnesota, I am only allowed to sell goods for local delivery or pick up. I am unable to mail any products.
